'Absolute Blast'

I had an absolute blast with Barefoot Divers Roatan, Honduras.  If the captain of our cruise ship ( Valor ) had managed to get us into mahogany bay it would have been much closer than where we docked at coxen hole.  Still Barefoot Divers had a cab waiting for us right outside the cruise dock. The cab driver was cool, honest, and reliable.  The marina at Barefoot was AWESOME! The staff professional and efficient.  Got us all out to the dive sites in double quick time.  The spots we dove on the south side were much more pristine than my last trip to the north side just outside AKR. It is my sincere hope that anybody headed to Roatan by cruise ship or otherwise get the chance to utilize these Barefoot Divers!

'Best experience we have had'

We recently dove with Barefoot Divers in Roatan. As far as dive facilities we have been to in the Caribbean Sea, Barefoot Divers was by far the best experience we have had. Their facility is first class, great food, and by far the best diving scenery we saw on our recent trip. The boats and dive equipment were top of the line. The wall was one of the most beautiful sights we have seen underwater. The water clarity was also excellent during our trip which made the reef that much more amazing. Our next dive trip will most likely be back down to Roatan to dive with Barefoot Divers again.

'No herds'

My husband and our friend got scuba certified at Barefoot Cay. They weren't herded and tourist-ed like a bigger resort. They got their own instructor, their own lessons, and they both still have a total man-crush on Jack-O (sorry about the spelling- Jaquco?) Major Man-Crush! They still talk about how great it was to this day.

'We loved it'

We did the Discover Scuba class and loved it. Our instructor, Paul, was so patient with us. I was so nervous and he never made me feel out of place or too slow. We loved it so much that we plan to go back next year and do the entire certification.

'Groups were small'

We did not touch our gear from the moment we arrived except when we were actually using it. The dive staff carried, set up, removed, and cleaned our gear each day. Fresh fruit and water were always available on the boats. The groups were small, an average of 6 divers, accompanied by two dive masters who were not only safety conscious, but went out of their way to find and point out the cool stuff. Never saw so many nudi's and seahorses on a dive trip before!

'Attentive and knowledgeable'

The dive staff could not be more attentive and knowledgeable. They assisted some of the older divers in and out of the water. They took great delight in finding and showing all the sea life. Nitrox is available.
Their attention to safety of the divers both in the water and on the boat was outstanding.
